WALDEN GALLERIA RELEASES ANNUAL COMMUNITY REPORT
Buffalo, NY: Walden Galleria today released its 2019 Community Report that highlights the results of the shopping center’s collaboration with Western New York’s non-profit community organizations over the past year. The Community Report is now available at http://bit.ly/wgcommunity.
In 2019, Walden Galleria hosted over 440 non-profit events and partnered with 65 different local organizations that utilized the shopping center for meeting space, fundraising, and awareness campaigns. In addition, Walden Galleria launched their fourth annual Tykes Tuesday Summer Kids Club program that welcomed over 1,300 children and families to experience free activities and events hosted inside the shopping center.
“It is our absolute pleasure to give back to our community that has done so much for us,” says Alex Corbelli, Marketing Director for Walden Galleria. “We’re proud to partner with several local non-profit organizations who utilize Walden Galleria as an avenue for their cause and to spread awareness for their mission.”
American Cancer Society of WNY is one of the organizations that partnered with Walden Galleria to celebrate their annual Galleria of Treats event surrounding Halloween. The event welcomes over 3,000 trick-or-treaters with all proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society of Western New York, raising almost $15,000 in 2019.
