Walden Galleria to Host Food Drive with Back To Basics Outreach Ministries & FeedMore WNY
— Food drive donation to benefit community & families affected by recent tragedy, happening Thursday, May 19th through Sunday, May 22nd at specific areas throughout the shopping center —
Buffalo, NY: Walden Galleria, in partnership with Back To Basics Outreach Ministries and FeedMore WNY, will be hosting a food drive beginning Thursday, May 19th through Sunday, May 22nd at the shopping center for community members and families affected by the recent tragedy.
Shoppers and visitors are encouraged to donate food and essential care items including diapers, soap, detergent, and other personal care products. Several donation areas will be located inside the shopping center, specifically placed on the upper level outside of Urban Air Adventure Park, lower level between the escalators at Dick’s Sporting Goods, and on the lower level between the escalators at Macy’s. In addition, Macy’s has redirected their Register Round Up for Charity Campaign to benefit FeedMore WNY’s community support efforts for those affected by the tragedy.
“The collaborative efforts of Back To Basics, Walden Galleria, FeedMore WNY, and the amazing out-pour of caring citizens that have come out of this tragedy is unprecedented,” said Pastor Giles, founder of Back-To-Basics Outreach Ministries. “There is no greater example of love that Buffalo has for its residents than all of us coming together to meet the needs of the community.”

Donations can be brought or made during the shopping center’s hours of operation, starting at 11:00 a.m. until close on Thursday, May 19th until Sunday, May 22nd.
