Urban Air Buffalo Sharing Birthday Celebrations with CASA of Erie County

Buffalo, NY: Let ‘Em Celebrate! Urban Air Buffalo has partnered with local non-profit group, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Erie County, to share in the special celebration of birthdays. The indoor adventure park is celebrating the Urban Air franchise’s 10th anniversary this month and is planning to give back to the community of Western New York by offering free birthday parties for a full year to children that are part of the CASA program.
There are currently over 300 children in CASA of Erie County’s program and Urban Air Buffalo wants to give back in a special way. Each month for the next year, Urban Air Buffalo will give a CASA child a free birthday celebration where they and 10 other children will be able to run, jump, bounce, climb and play in the park.
CASA is a national program of trained, dedicated volunteers assigned by Family Court judges to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children. CASA volunteers are an independent voice, and their mission is to make sure that children’s needs are met to the best of their abilities. Mental Health Advocates of Wester New York (MHAWNY) is home to CASA of Erie County.
“We’re truly committed to giving back to our Western New York Community and extremely happy to partner with CASA of Erie County to bring smiles to children’s faces that are facing difficult circumstances,” said Urban Air Buffalo franchisee, Rachelle Nurse.
With more than 46,000 square feet of play space, the state-of-the-art Urban Air Buffalo offers a full line-up of activities from bumper cars, wall-to-wall trampolines, and a dodgeball court, to playgrounds with multi-level climbing ropes and twisting tubes. The park also features a laser tag arena along with climbing walls and a ropes course. Urban Air Buffalo offers a stress-free, unforgettable experience.
CASA volunteers come from all walks of life. CASA volunteers are trained to understand the impact of trauma on children and act as an extra set of eyes and ears for the Judges. Children with a CASA volunteer are more likely to find a safe, permanent home, more likely to succeed in school, and half as likely to re-enter the foster care system.
