— New York State Police announcing the opening of new recruitment center inside Walden Galleria —
Buffalo, NY: In partnership with Walden Galleria, the New York State Police will be hosting a public media event regarding the upcoming Trooper Entrance Exam. Today, Tuesday, December 14th at 11:00 a.m. the NYSP will be addressing members of the media to announce the opening of the New York State Police Recruitment Center inside Walden Galleria and discuss the opportunity to become a State Trooper.
The media event will be hosted at the Recruitment Center located in a 1,000 sq. ft. space on the lower level of the shopper center across from Dave & Buster’s. All members of the media are invited to attend the announcement by entering through the main mall entrance between The Cheesecake Factory and Bravo! Italian Kitchen.
“Our partnership with Walden Galleria gives us a great opportunity to reach out to the local community,” says Jenny Carrion-Bryman, Troop A Recruiting Officer. “While the exam is being held virtually, candidates interested in joining the State Police can visit our Recruitment Center to talk with Troopers about the application process and learn more about the State Police.”
Currently, The New York State Police has approximately 4,800 sworn members. The State Police have contracted with Pearson VUE to offer the Trooper Entrance Exam virtually at 54 testing centers in New York State, more than 250 locations in the United Sates and 112 military locations around the world. Candidates will be able to choose where and when they take the exam.
