— Public COVID testing has shifted to drive-through only at area’s largest shopping center —
Buffalo, NY: KSL Diagnostics Inc., a Western New York-based company that has conducted hundreds of thousands of COVID tests since the start of the pandemic, is now offering a drive-through only public COVID testing site at Walden Galleria. The site will occupy a portion of Walden Galleria’s 5-level parking deck located on the north end of the shopping center across from Forever 21 and will offer COVID rapid antigen testing with both 30-minute and 24-hour COVID RT-PCR testing available. The transition to outdoor, drive-through only COVID testing comes at a time of increased demand in the community.
“With the omicron variant driving up the number of COVID cases in Buffalo and Erie County, we wanted to make testing safer and more convenient. Providing drive-through testing that allows patients to remain in their vehicles is the best way to achieve that goal,” said Kevin Lawson, President and CEO of KSL Diagnostics. “As we’ve seen throughout the COVID pandemic, it is wise to be flexible and continually assess the situation to determine the best course of action.”
KSL Diagnostics operates a number of drive-through COVID testing locations in WNY that deliver quality services with the area’s fastest, most reliable turnaround time for reporting test results. All KSL COVID testing sites are open to the public and do not require an appointment:
