Christmas & New Year’s Shopping Hours at Walden Galleria
— Shopping center’s hours of operation will be adjusted to accommodate last-minute holiday shopping —
Buffalo, NY: Walden Galleria will be open on Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24th from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for customer’s last-minute holiday shopping convenience. The shopping center will be closed on Christmas Day with the exception of select restaurants that may be open for dinner and takeout. The following week, Walden Galleria will open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 5:00 p.m. on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Anchor stores like Macy’s, JCPenney, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Best Buy are also operating on their own schedules on Christmas Eve to account for shoppers purchasing last-minute gifts. These hours are listed below:
- Dick’s Sporting Goods: Opens at 7:00 a.m. on Christmas Eve and remains open until 7:00 p.m.
- Macy’s: Opens at 8:00 a.m. on Christmas Eve and remains open until 7:00 p.m.
- Best Buy: Opens at 8:00 a.m. on Christmas Eve and remains open until 7:00 p.m.
- JCPenney: Opens at 9:00 a.m. on Black Friday and remains open until 6:00 p.m.
On Christmas Eve, shoppers and families will also have the opportunity to visit and take photos with Santa Claus from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. where they can whisper their final Christmas wishes to St. Nick himself on the lower level near the Apple Store.
