POSITION: FACILITIES COORDINATOR AT WALDEN GALLERIA
SUMMARY: Supervise those who are performing: HVAC maintenance repairs, recycling, landscaping, Marketing set-ups and contractors performing routine maintenance and/or repairs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist tenants and customers when and where needed.
Track and oversee routine maintenance of all HVAC systems that the mall is responsible for, including anchor tenants.
Track and oversee that electrical inventories, check meters and water reads are completed.
Oversee recycling cardboard and pallet pick up, ordering of bailing wire and pick up and return of storage trailers, containers and open tops.
Monitor and review interior and exterior landscaping maintenance and janitorial, snow removal and other third party contractors as directed by the Operations Manager.
Purchase material and supplies related to the mall common area and mall exterior as directed by the Operations Manager.
Track and oversee all escalator and elevator repairs and maintenance, including calling in contractor for emergency repairs, and State required 3rd party testing and inspections.
Responsible for inputting temporary and permanent lighting and HVAC schedules as required.
Supervise and schedule related personnel to ensure coverage of all assignments required.
Track and oversee food tenants’ contractors including kitchen exhaust fan cleaning, pest control, and grease interceptor cleaning.
Track and oversee pest control contractor for the mall, both interior and exterior.
Develop and implement safety standards to be used by mall personnel. Participate in safety committee to promote safety standards and procedures for the center.
Oversee all physical Marketing and event set ups and break downs including community room, common area, leasing meetings, Santa/Easter, employee meetings, as well as the maintenance and cleaning of all related Marketing equipment.
Oversee and manage pipe & drape installation and removal of in empty store fronts. Maintain inventory of these materials as well as other Marketing department materials.
Assist Operations Manager in management of budget.
May act as Manager on Duty on assigned weekends.
SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE: Directly supervises two or more non-supervisory employees in the Operations Department.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable law. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training of employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; ensuring employees are following appropriate safety standards; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED preferred
EXPERIENCE: One to three years related training and/or experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER QUALITIES: Ability to operate the following types of equipment: hand tools, power tools, electrical equipment, lifts, security truck, personal computer, two-way radio.
